Phillip Island Classic 2011
The Phillip Island Classic is a Victorian Historic Racing Register event, that was held on the 18th 19th and 20th of May 2011. With nearly 500 cars racing, and the celebration of many anniversaries like 60 years of Porsche, 40 years of Jaguar and Mini among others, it was always set to e a fantastic weekend of racing and admiring countless classic race cars.
To celebrate Porsches 60 years in Australia (1951-2011) they bought 6 cars to the track, from there rolling Museum(one from each decade). These included the latest technological marvels to former Le Mans winners. The cars were driven several times over the weekend , so fans got a chance to see and hear them on track, as well as being on static display the rest of the weekend.
